Winterhawk's show career started with a bang. Dana Cline gave him RWD his first time out at 6 months of age.

I showed Winterhawk at the 2007 GDCA National, however, due to a growth spurt, he just couldn't figure out where to put his feet. He didn't place, but had a good time anyway.

I kept Winterhawk home, giving him time to mature and to adjust to his growth. I also had another male I was focusing on to finish-Bon Jovi.

Winterhawk came back out in 09 and did quite well. I showed him sparingly, as he was just getting started. He took WD or RWD nearly every time he went out. He picked up 5 points, including a 4 pt major reserve win. Not a bad start for my big boy.

2010 is starting quite well for Winterhawk. I showed him in Independence and although he was a bit put off by the strange flooring at first, he still managed to overcome his insecurity and took WD/BOW on Fri. March 19th.

His next show weekend out I tried putting a handler on him, only to find he preferred his mother! He tried, but it was clear, he was't showing his best. He took RWD 2 days in a row at Wichita. On the 3rd day, the handler and I decided it would be best if I took him in. He took WD, a much happier boy!

His next show he again took WD/BOW/BOS. He is now almost singled out and starting that wonderful hunt for majors.

Winterhawk has been shown sparingly, looking for majors. He pointed out at the Lake St Louis show with Kristin Heiden showing for me, Taking WD/BOW. The addition of BOS would have made it one of the majors he needed. So close!

Winterhawk is CHIC and is now being offered at stud to outside bitches. He has been bred to Liberty's Lady Of Valor, Eowyn, an Arwen/Bon Jovi daughter-a -Vanna grand daughter.
Puppies are due June 24, 2012.

Winterhawk will also be bred to Winners, Int.Ch.,UAg1 Liberty's Mission Impossible CD,RE,OA,OAJ,NAP,NJP,CGC,TDI this year.
