Vanna played a bit in the puppy classes and wasn't taken seriously-by the judges or myself! As she has matured she has begun to show herself for the fine lady she is, and has become a contender. I am very pleased with her wins and look forward to being able to announce that she has finished!

Vanna is now pointed! She took WB Sunday Sept. 24 out of the 9-12 month puppy class for 2 points.
Thank you Ralph Graff!

Flash: Vanna placed second at the Nationals in the 9-12 month harle puppy class. She made the cut in the same class at the St. Louis specialty, but her sister, Liberty's Dream Catcher Nan-Par, took the ribbons that day to place forth in that class. Her mother, Int. Ch. Liberty's Chelsea V Vindane CGC,TDI,TT took third in the veterans class.

Vanna goes BOB in Ottumwa.

Vanna taking reserve to a 4 pt major in Topeka under Mr. Bivins, April 2001.

Vanna is now an Int. CH. She and her brother Scotty both attained their titles at the International show in Gray Summit in June 2001.

Vanna takes BOB over specials in Lawrence-thank you Ms Patricia Laurans.
She went WB the previous day as well under Mrs. Jo Ann Dutton.

(Sorry, no conformation picture available due to photographer error.)
Vanna had another nice win at Rock Island. Later the same day she got a qualifying score in agility, with a third place and her second NAJ leg, giving her a versitilty award from the club.
The following day she was a bit keyed up to be in the conformation ring, but was unbelievable in agility. She got her third leg in both jumpers and standard novice, completing both titles.

(Not one of Vanna's better photo's.)
Vanna had to show her heart out for this win. Judge Ralph Graff really made the dogs move. I will add I appreciated his judging style. He was patient with the puppies as well as giving all the dogs a good look.

Vanna and I went to the National with high hopes for getting her third CDX leg, and her title, but it did not happen. She did place third out of the bred-by class at the Cincinatti Specialty, and made the cut twice to be pulled 5th in the bred-by class at the 2002 National. She did have fun during the parades, giving a performance that would make both her grandfather and mother very proud.
She also got a second open standard agiltiy leg and took first place.
Her sister, Int. Ch. Liberty's Dream Catcher-Nan Par also made the cut in a very large, very nice, open harle class.
Vanna had a good weekend in Nebraska in November. She took WB/BOW under Ms. Beam, and then went on to get her third open leg and complete her CDX with a second place.

Wichita was a great show all the way around. Vanna completed her OAJ title with some really awsome runs. She took RWB Friday and Saturday and then WB on Sunday. She now has 10 points and the hunt for majors is on!
Vanna will be taking some time off to be a mom. Something she has wanted to do for some time. See planned breedings for more information about this very special event.
Vanna came back to the conformation ring after having her first and then later her second litter, however, RWB to majors was as close as we could get to finishing her championship. Such a shame on such a deserving girl!
Vanna still shows in conformation-in 2007 she placed 4th in the GDCA 8 and over veterans class. There were 9 in the class, all but 1 other entry already a champion.

As you can see, at 8 years young, she can still move and loves to show.
