Kodi was what I would have described as a grand old gentleman, and a very old soul. His life was full with so much love and devotion for me that his loss leaves a rather large space. He was my first competition obedience Dane, but more than that, he was my protector, and my friend. He seemed to live to be sure I was ok.
I have so many wonderful memories of Kodi. He was loved no matter where he went, or what he was doing. His temperament and intelligence always shone through, whether he was standing amidst 30 deaf children doing therapy work, or watching over puppies in the whelping box.
I feel honored to have had the privilege of spending time on this earth with him in my life. I know he is in a very special place.
Good-bye my dearest friend, I feel your presence, and know you still watch over us here.
